Have a look at http://www.adobe.com/designcenter/video_workshop/?id=vid0006 This is a really good clip about using the camera raw dialog box. The whole clip is good, but the retouch tool about 3:22 minutes into it is really amazing.
I remember how much cleaning up you had to do with these files.
Of course the finished image is gorgeous.

There is a lot of depth, irony and profound issues in those two rooms. I love the effect of the large talking floating head. An interactive renaissance telly tubby? I think I would have to see it in person…
I had chicken tonight for dinner…feeling a pinch of remorse.

i’m curious…how do you feel about this quote in the context of digitally manipulated work, like what we learned in photoshop? is it still “that, there it is!” but in a new, redefined form? Or does it change and not be that at all?

this is a lovely image…the wrapping of the dike feels protective, as it function deems it to be

I was raised in richmond…my old boyfriend used to fish out of steveston. one time his boat sank with him, his brother, father and grandfather on board…they managed to get into a lifeboat and floated around for 2 days before being located by the coast guard. everyone survived
